Saaneah the Soultress
Saaneah The Soultress has graced
audiences all over the world with her unique blend of R & B, Jazz, Funk, Hip-Hop
and Blues. Saaneah is a talented entertainer that writes and produces her own
music and choreographs her own performances. Singing as long as she has been
speaking, Saaneah is an electric powerhouse influenced by greats such as Aretha
Franklin, James Brown, Ella Fitzgerald and Donny Hathaway! This
local twenty-one year old performing artist graduated high school from
Nashville School of the Arts and continued her studies in the commercial music
department at Tennessee State University. She also won the Beyonce Contest
sponsored by 101 The Beat Jamz, performing and dancing one of Beyonce's
hit songs Check Up On It at the Sommet Center. She has
performed in live stage productions such as Dreamgirls, Little Shop of Horrors,
For Colored Girls and Black Nativity. Recently, she was selected as one of the
top 50 of this season's American Idol 7. She is excited to be able to entertain
the Jazz & Jokes audience on August 16th.
